Nissan already confirmed that the Skyline nameplate will continue. There are no details yet as to when it will debut, but at the Nissan Vision Event, the brand just teased what the next-generation Skyline will look like.

Only two photos of the next-generation Skyline have been released, but so far we like what we’re seeing. The first photo previews the rear quarter of the upcoming model, and it features the Skyline logo on the rear fender in script form.

This is reminiscent of older Skyline sedans, most notably on the C110 generation model aka the Ken/Yonmeri. Of course, the signature round taillight still remains, but appears to protrude from the rear end, which lends to its aggressive styling.

Another important bit to notice is that there are four doors, meaning the next-generation model will also be a sedan. This is not surprising considering the current-generation V37 Skyline in Japan is available only as a sedan.

Meanwhile, the front end shows an aggressive design to match with vertical lighting elements. The angular shape reminds us of the Electric Hyper Force Concept, where the next-generation Skyline could take inspiration from.

Nissan did not announce when the new Skyline will debut, but so far we’re loving all the retro-inspired styling cues. The current-generation Skyline is a Japan only model, but here’s to hoping Nissan decides to offer it abroad, and maybe in left hand drive configuration.
