A UK travel company has suspended all services after 15 years of operations.

Global Travel Partners, a UK- and US-based corporate travel management company, entered liquidation last week.

The business travel provider, founded in September 2011, delivered “end-to-end business travel planning”.

According to The Gazette, Ian Douglas Yerrill of Yerrill Murphy was appointed liquidator on 7 October.

Per Global Travel Partners' website, the company has hosted over 100,000 customers in more than 35,000 hotel rooms.

The site lists Samsung, American Airlines, and Toshiba among the company's clients.

It adds: “At Global Travel Partners, we do more than manage itineraries — we engineer intelligent travel programs tailored to your business needs.

“Our goal is to help you save money, simplify your travel experience, and make every journey as smooth and stress-free as possible so you can focus on what matters most — closing deals, building business relationships, and growing your business while we handle the logistics.”

The voluntary wind-up of corporate operations comes after the closure of several UK travel operators this year.

In August, two UK travel companies ceased trading over the summer holidays, with holiday packages at risk of cancellation.

Frasers Travel Ltd and Golf Villa Rentals Ltd ceased trading with effect from 18 August 2026.

The closure of Frasers Travel Ltd comes 40 years after the company, based in Saltcoats, Ayrshire, was founded in 1986.

The travel provider offered long- and short-haul holiday packages to destinations including the Caribbean, Spain and Australia.

According to Abta, the travel trade association, people who booked with the company should identify the tour operator that Frasers Travel Ltd booked their holiday with.

Golf Villa Rentals Ltd, a company based in East Sussex, sold package holidays including villa accommodation and travel “on golf courses across the globe”.

Abta advised travellers: “If you booked a package holiday through Golf Villa Rentals Ltd, financial protection for those holidays was provided by financial failure insurance.

“Customers with bookings should visit the Evolution Insurance Company Ltd website for further information and advice on how to make a claim.”
